Always Moving Forward: It’s a mantra we at Accuride take to heart. That’s why we recently overhauled and expanded our training program for our team to better and more quickly address your needs.

Introducing Accuride U.

Accuride University is the new hands-on training program all Accuride staff undergo. The program consists of multiple courses, with each course lasting about a week.

Students learn:

• The history of Accuride
• The range of Accuride products
• The mechanics of those products
• And real-world applications

Students are trained to dis- and re-assemble Accuride slides, while identifying the key components and how they work. Students are also tested to install an Accuride slide into a demo cabinet.

How It Helps You

Having a knowledgeable team with hands-on experience means they’re better prepared to answer customer questions like:

• What’s the difference between a 3832 and a 3832E?
• Why won’t my drawer stay closed?
• How do I disconnect my slide?
• Will this slide work in tool storage?
• What’s the difference between a slide and a guide?

Accuride U. is also a way to clear up any confusion about terminology. This is important for many teams, from design to marketing, by fostering a common language and understanding. That, in turn, cultivates an accurate and consistent message in our literature, website, and videos.

There’s a lot of messages we create. Accuride has well over 100 models of hardware for applications ranging from office casework to industrial machinery. Those are a lot of different clients with different challenges that Accuride staff must be prepared to help with.
