Accuride International Opens Online Store

RV News released an exciting article announcing that Accuride International has opened a brand new online store. As mentioned in the article, Accuride International is joining a growing number of businesses that are moving into e-commerce. The Santa Fe Springs, California-based maker of sliding hardware and other commercial products has launched an online store after almost 60 years in business.

“Customers have told us that they need to be able to order a broad selection of our slides anytime, anywhere and on any device,” Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Sid Kalantar said. “Our e-commerce channel enables us to close geographical distribution gaps, allowing customers to purchase a full assortment of specialty products, as well as popular slides, including undermount and heavy-duty options.”

Customers can also use the store’s online resources, such as a slide glossary, a frequently asked questions section, videos, guides and case studies.

Accuride asked some of its customers to try the online store during its testing phase. The robotics team from South Grand Prairie High School in Texas ordered from the store and used a friction guide on the website to help with its entry for the FIRST Robotics Competition.

“We were very pleased with Accuride’s online store,” the team mentor David Ricks said. “It was very simple to find and order the specific product we were seeking and later reorder it.”
