Accuride 3600 Series: The Entry-Level Heavy-Duty Slide Family

The 3600 Series forms the entry point in heavy-duty solutions. In general, 3600 Series slides handle max loads of 273 lbs. come with a cross-section thickness of .75″, and some variants come with extra-travel. Like many product families, the 3600 Series comes in variants with special features.

The Accuride 3620 is a 200 lb. pocket-and-bayonet slide with 1″ of over-travel. It’s an ideal solution for lateral filing cabinets.

The Accuride SS5322 is a terrific option for entry-level, heavy-duty applications in marine and outdoor environments.

The Accuride SS5321 is a stainless-steel model similar to a 3601. This slide has a .75″ cross-section, 1″ over-travel, and a load rating of 352 lbs. It’s a terrific option for entry-level, heavy-duty applications in marine and outdoor environments.

Accuride 7900 Series: A Big Step Forward in Heavy-Duty Drawer Slides

The 7900 Series goes that extra mile in movement. This family of slides can tackle up to 350 lbs. and support applications up to 42″ wide. The 7900 Series has a cross-section .75″ thick and a full-extension design.

Accuride 9300 Series: The Standard in Heavy-Duty Drawer Slides

The 9300 Series is practically synonymous with “heavy-duty.” It’s been in production for two decades and has set the bar for competitors.

The 9300 Series can handle max loads up to 600 lbs. and 42” wide. Thanks to a full-extension design, the 9300 Series slides’ exceptional performance don’t compromise drawer access.

The Accuride 9308E has been a favorite variant. It comes with a lock-in and lock-out feature, making it ideal for vehicular storage.

Accuride AL Series: Super Heavy-Duty Aluminum Drawer Slide

The 9300 Series isn’t the highest option when it comes to heavy-duty ball bearing movement. The AL family of aluminum super heavy-duty slides is an option for extreme applications.

The AL4140 is a super-heavy solution built to handle extreme loads.

There are options for even tougher applications, such as heavy industrial machinery. The AL family of super heavy-duty slides have maximum load ratings between 661 and 1,323 lbs.

The “AL” designation refers to slide members’ aluminum material. Those members work with stainless-steel balls and bearings to deliver corrosion-resistant capabilities.

The Accuride AL4140 serves the top of the AL line. It features a full-extension design with support for loads up to 1,323 lbs. These features make the AL4140 a terrific solution to underpin moving sections within marine vehicles.

Accuride 116RC: A Heavy-Duty Linear Track-and-Carriage System

Not all heavy-duty movement solutions are drawer slides.

The Accuride 116RC is an example of a heavy-duty carriage-and-track system. It’s an excellent solution to mount onto sliding entries and height-adjustable fixtures.

Take the Accuride 116RC: It’s a heavy-duty carriage-and-track system. A user mounts an application, such as a door, to brackets attached to the carriages. The carriages, in turn, sit within an aluminum track. Balls within the carriages permit a user to slide an application with ease–so much ease, in fact, that the 116RC is ADA-compliant (pull-force under 5 lbs.), all while supporting loads up to 793 lbs.

The 116RC’s design enables users to mount it in various configurations. (Load ratings can vary by configuration, however. Consult with the Accuride 116RC tech sheet for details.)

Thanks to a special mounting kit and damper, 116RC is a popular option for sliding entryways in major facilities.
